Though advertised as a horror film, "The Purge" is more of a social
commentary. Even though it takes place in a dystopian parallel reality, there
are many not-so-subtle hints about the state of affairs in America today. I
don't intend to say more about it until I watch it again. For now, watch the
film and be shocked.
